Some Like It Explosive at the Hotel Del Coronado

· Hotel Del Coronado: The U.S. Navy is reporting that an explosive device used in a training exercise might wash up on the beach near this legendary San Diego hotel which served as the backdrop for the Marilyn Monroe film, "Some Like It Hot."

They Navy says it was attached to a fake mine in an explosives drill 300 yards off the coast on Friday. The primary charge exploded as intended, but did not trigger a complete detonation.

Now officials believe the device will be found ashore near the hotel. It won't blow up but anyone who sees it should call 911.

· Saudi Arabian women can now stay in hotels alone but all their information must be given at check-in to the religious police. Guess they won't be having any Girls Night Out packages in Saudi Arabian hotels anytime soon.

· The Clarion Hotel, near the San Fran airport and made famous in the Steve McQueen movie "Bullitt", was set to be demolished this month for not one but three Starwood-branded hotels, may just live to see another day. According to this report, plans for the lot to have an Aloft, Element and Westin hotels are dead.

· The Mr. President Hotel in Belgrade has a disturbing portrait of Aldoph Hitler hanging over the bed of one hotel room.
