A Mondrian Hotel is Planned for Palm Springs

Despite the awful year that the Mondrian West Hollywood had, the brand name will be still be spinning off. Aside from the upcoming Mondrian South Beach, a New York location and several others, Morgans Hotel Group has another Mondrian Hotel project planned. This time it's in Palm Springs.

The Resort plans call for a Mondrian hotel with approximately 200 rooms, as well as residences available for sale. The Resort is expected to open in 2010. This new venture is the seventh announced Mondrian, including the renowned, original West Hollywood Mondrian, the new Mondrian Scottsdale, and properties under development in Las Vegas, Miami, Chicago and SoHo.

The $100 million project will also feature a restaurant and bar, a fitness and spa center plus a happening pool scene. Let's just hope they can actually keep the celeb vomit out of this one.
