Trump Chicago Gets New Opening Date of Jan. 30th
Donald Trump's Trump Chicago is now set to open on Jan. 30th, nearly two months after its initial expected opening date. The delay is being blamed on problems in obtaining a certificate of occupancy but also, half the building is still unfinished.
Initially, five floors will open in the luxury hotel, which will occupy floors 14-27 of the 92-story mixed-used tower at Wabash Avenue and the Chicago River. The remaining floors will opening gradually, with completion expected in the spring.
The hotel's spa will open late February. The restaurant, Sixteen, will be serving breakfast and then lunch and dinner by Feb. 6th.
