Hotel Le Bleu might be shirking its similarities to the ever-delayed Six Columbus. On September 10,  the hotel will finally open its doors in trendy Park Slope, Brooklyn. According to its internal site as well as hotels.com, Le Bleu is taking reservations starting on the 10th. After several delayed grand openings, we're not plunking down the $327 for a room only to see our reservations cancelled at the last minute. But for now, it looks like there will be a new, very modern and very blue, place to sleep near the N/R train.

Since many consider Brooklyn the new Manhattan, it's only fitting the up-and-coming borough started opening luxury hotels that rival its noisy neighbor. Yoga studios seem to line the streets of Park Slope, so it's nice to see a hotel take up real estate in an otherwise unsightly stretch of 4th Avenue. Plus, it's handy having a high-end place to rest one's well-stretched body after a long day of bending.
