There's plenty to keep you occupied here, from the natural mineral baths and various reasonably priced massages to clay tennis courts and bike rentals for exploring the lake.
The golf course is strictly for working on your short game: it has six holes and if you rent clubs you get only three. You might have to ask for instructions at the front desk though: around 70 percent of the guests are from Germany or Austria and another 15 percent are local, so must signs are in German and Hungarian.
Rooms are stylish and well-equipped for this kind of place, with the video tour posted here being of the smallest ones available - the singles. Since guests come here to spend time in the thermal baths, the shower baths in the room are rather minimalist. But hey, they have no qualms about you moseying through the lobby in your bathrobe here.
The Lotus Therme's restaurant is a great place to sample both the local cuisine and the excellent wines produced around Lake Balaton. Have some goulash and paprika sausage with a "Bull's Blood" red wine, then top off the meal with a pastry and a Tokaji dessert wine. Get up the next day and soak.
