As for those views, half the rooms do have a glimpse of the slimy Gowanus Canal and a sweeping panorama of U-Haul filled parking lots. From the higher floors, though, you also get the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. (Not available from Manhattan hotel rooms.)
While most of the rooms are finished, one floor still has some work pending, and the entire hotel is getting scrubbed down this week. The rooftop restaurant and bar are still months away and definitely under contruction. But GM Gaeta told us that was always the plan: Get the hotel open, then worry about the restaurant. Hotel Le Bleu plans keep guests off the 7th floor so it can act as a buffer zone between the occupied floors and the construction for the restaurant and bar.
More photos of the hotel are in the HotelChatter Flickr Pool.
