Cosmo For A Cure

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Next month, Kor Hotel Group, getting in on the marketing-meets-charity craze in the hotel industry we told you about last week, launches the second year of its "Think Pink" campaign.
During this promotion, guests staying at a participating Kor hotel can choose a "Think Pink" rate where 10 percent of which will be contributed to the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center.
Participating hotels include the West Coast hotels--The Avalon Beverly Hills, Chamberlain West Hollywood, Delfina Santa Monica, Maison 140 Beverly Hills, Viceroy Santa Monica, and Viceroy Palm Springs.
But that's not to say the other Kor properties are left out of the promotion. Over at the Tides South Beach, guests can hit up the La Marea bar in October (remember--the hotel is still undergoing renovations) and purchase a Pink Martini made of cranberry juice, Lillet Blanc and a rose petal garnish. The drink is $14 with 20 percent of sales going to Saks Fifth Avenue’s Key to the Cure, benefiting the University of Miami's Sylvester ComprehensiveCancer Center.
A Think Pink martini will also be available at the Avalon and the Maison 140 in Beverly Hills, also for $14 with 20 percent of these sales going to the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center. Our cosmos never tasted so good.
