The Westin Chicago River North has decided there's a different way to get noticed by potential hotel guests other than stocking the rooms with cool amenities or offering creative packages.

Nope, this time they have decided to get your (and our) attention by installing a swanky high-tech toilet. Yup, a toilet, a privy, loo, latrine, crapper, can, john, or whatever you call it.

Bringing luxury to where it is least expected, the Windy City hotel has installed the technologically-advanced Brondell Swash 800 toilet seat, complete with remote control, of course.

The Brondell Swash 800 highlights include a bidet, warm air dryer (ooooh!), one-touch wireless remote, germ resistant seat and water and seat temperature settings, "perfect for those chilly Chicago days."

For now, there is only one Brondie (our nickname) in the entire hotel but if it's a success, the hotel will start putting them in all the guestrooms.

Never fear, there is more technology in other places of the guest rooms. The hotel recently introduced introduced iMac computers with complimentary high-speed Internet access, iHome iH5 iPod docking stations and 37-inch flat-screen televisions in the renovated Executive Club guestrooms. Rates start at $199 a night.
