Snapshot: A Sneak Peek at the Royalton Hotel Renovations

We got an inside look at the recent renovations done on the Royalton Hotel in Times Square which has been closed since June. This is one of the room shots above but we think this is for one of the higher-tier rooms like a suite or penthouse. It looks huge.

The hotel is also undergoing renovations on its public spaces including a revamped lobby and a new bar, Bar Forty Four, that will take the place of the old Round Bar. Additionally, a ground floor restaurant called Brassiere Forty Four is expected from John McDonald, the man behind Lever House.

All in all if these renovations go as planned, guests can see the new Royalton for themselves on October 1.
