Capella Pedregal Unveils New Rich-People Spa

September 10, 2007 at 2:01 PM | 0 Comments

The new high-end hotel brand Capella Hotels and Resorts has only opened two properties so far, and truth be told, neither sounds superb for a winter vacay: One is in Austria and the other in Ireland. But plans for some fun-in-the-sun hotels are moving right along, particularly at Capella Pedregal, the Cabo San Lucas property slated to open in Fall 2008.

The centerpiece is a gigantic spa designed by Sylvia Sepielli, the Ian Schrager of spa design. Auriga-branded space will sprawl for 10,000 square feet, with treatment rooms, pools, a fitness center and other spa standards.

Things go to the next level with yoga on the beach, spa services coordinated to the cycles of the moon and a private gym area, says the press release, for guests who travel with their own trainer. They really are going after Uncle Pennybags.
