Here are the findings from the 1,141 respondents. We're guessing they're mostly from the U.S. and England: the first is referenced and then one question asks if being in a hotel room "makes you feel randy." The answer? Twenty-six percent say yes, 32 percent say it depends on the other occupant.
Some more questions asked were:
What do you look for most in a hotel room?
55.7 percent say location, next is a comfortable bed.
What are you most likely to take from the mini-bar?
Two-thirds say, "I never take anything. It's too expensive."
Have you ever booked a hotel purely for a romantic redezvous?
Over two-thirds say yes, and only 7.3 percent say not with their partner.
Have you ever booked a hotel room by the hour?
Only 9.2 percent say yes. (Maybe they all spent some time in Japanese love hotels.)
As far as what people have found in their rooms, it's not pretty once you get past the leftover drugs.
When asked for the strangest thing found in a hotel room, the most frequent responses included other people (in various states of undress), bugs, toenail clippings, used prophylactics, pot, porn and poop. Believe it or not, more than one Kayaker found a prosthetic leg, a severed finger and false teeth.
Hmm...what is up with people leaving fake teeth and prosthetic limbs behind? Anyways, if you dare, see the full answers in graph form here.
