Room with a Killer View: Watch New York from the London

We are suckers for a room with a killer view.  We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. HotelChatter tipster Adam sent us this Killer View from Room 4601 of the London NYC Hotel. Unfortunately, apart from the great views, Adam didn't find many redeeming features about his stay in the London:

The London was an incredibly disappointing hotel but this view was a definite exception. We looked at 4 rooms before finally finding one that was suitable. Most rooms are very small, the furniture is laid out horribly and the room just felt uncomfortable. The front desk actually told us that a lot of people check in, see their room, and check right back out ... For the record, our TV barely worked over the 6 days there, 3 outlets in the room had no power, and the staff didn't seem that concerned. I liked it better when it was the Rhiga Royal.
