Six Columbus Doors Are Open...But The Hotel Isn't

We promise this is our last NYC hotel construction update...for the day at least.
We sauntered by the eternally unopened Six Columbus yesterday and snapped a few shots. It appears that work is still going on atop the hotel for the totally mismatched rooftop addition. We glanced at some of the work permits put up on the lobby windows, which are still covered in brown paper, but we're still in the process of deconstructing what they mean.
However, we were shocked to see a woman brazenly enter the hotel herself. She just swung that door open like it was no big deal. We concluded she worked there. So we opened the door to follow her. Then we shut it real fast because we remembered we were already late for a meeting. That and we got scared of getting arrested for trespassing.
We did see some of the lobby which is pretty much finished. So the delays are definitely structural. As for the end of summer opening? Considering that's three weeks away and there's still work going on, we say not so much.
