Discount on Grub at the Ritz-Carlton's BLT Restaurant

Yesterday's NY Post featured an article on new eats in Midtown Manhattan. And one of the recommended choices was BLT Market at the Ritz-Carlton.
The restaurant is part of chef Laurent Tourondel's BLT "empire" that includes BLT restaurants all over the globe. The BLT Market in the Ritz opened on Aug. 16 but is still in preview mode until Sept. 10. Which is actually good news for you since during this time there's a 10 percent discount on the food.
Here, Tourondel's ever-changing menu (with new offerings every month and weekly first-of-the-season blackboard specials) features local farmers such as Vermont Butter & Cheese Co. (goat cheese and fromage blanc), Jansal (rucola and dandelion greens), Satur (baby fennel, lemon verbena, Swiss chard and corn) and Jamison (lamb).
Also seasonal are the cocktails like August's apricot-mint caipiroska.
The Post lists their "Must-have meals" as the three-cheese stuffed zucchini blossom with green-tomato basil compote, a seven-pepper crusted grass-fed N.Y. strip steak with chanterelles and a rhubarb, strawberry and blueberry cobbler with Vermont fromage blanc sorbet.
Seeing that rooms at the Ritz start at $625, this is definitely a cheaper way to enjoy the hotel.
