Kirsten Dunst's Pricey Purse Snatched from Soho Grand Hotel

Where is Spidey when a girl really needs him? Kirsten Dunst apparently had her $13,000 handbag stolen from the penthouse suite at the Soho Grand earlier this month, according to police reports.

The IHT writes:

Thieves slipped into the actress' rooms at the SoHo Grand Hotel on Aug. 9, court records show. Dunst, who was in town to shoot scenes for a forthcoming film called "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People," had left early that morning, according to the records.

Darting into the suite through an open door, the thieves grabbed designer bags, US$2,500 in cash, credit and ID cards, two digital cameras, a cell phone and an iPod music player, court records show. A surveillance camera captured the burglars leaving the hotel with the items, according to a court complaint.

Yikes, that's why if we were famous we would never own a digital camera. And if we did, it would only be for boring pictures of landscapes or hotel rooms. As for the $13,000 bag well we're sure some designer would have given her a free replacement.

Anyways, Kiki's in luck as New York's finest have captured one suspect, Jarrod Beinerman, who was being held on $50,000 bond after being arraigned on burglary and grand larceny charges.
