So Tori and Dean's second season of Inn Love premiered last night and we were able to catch it through a pinot grigio haze. The duo kicked off their show with an annoying intro where they gab about how they opened a B & B and had a baby, etc. Basically its just scripted nonsense.

Anyhow, they get right down to business by making a surprise appearance at Chateau La Rue. While they have been on maternity leave, Jim Stricker has been taking care of the B&B. Right....Anyways, Tori and Dean show up with Liam and a nanny in tow and Tori frets she might be pregnant again.

Now, we rag on Tori a lot but the girl is no Britney Spears.

MORE

A B&B is Expensive
Basically the costs of running Chateau La Rue have far exceeded what Tori and Dean expected. Among other things the fountain is broken out in front, vandals have wrecked the place on occasion (throwing eggs at the house and letting air out of guest's tires) and the place is infested with mice. Even Nanny finds one in the bathtub! But surprisingly, Tori gets down and dirty in the tub with the mice to set him free. She's an animal lover after all.

Ditching the B&B
Tori finds an opportunity to go on a talk show in London and tells Dean they need to leave in three days. Dean doesn't like it because he feels they have a business to run and Tori wants to jet off to London.

Tori tries to reason going to London to promote their B&B. (Ed. Note: We're not even halfway through the show but oooh! Mandy Moore has a new reality show coming up after this.)

Just before this, Tori surprised us again by dying Nanny's hair. Except she ruined the cute moment by saying the one time she herself tried to dye the carpet to match the drapes it turned purple.

London Baby
In the end, Tori convinces Dean to take a trip to London but c'mon you know Oxygen has already set this trip up for the past month. But first the duo hit up the doctor's office to make sure Liam is ok to fly and of course he is, with Nanny in tow.

The Spelling-McDermott family arrives in London and all Tori can do is obsess about her baby weight. Obviously, girlfriend does not care about promoting her B&B, only losing any weight she gained.

Anyways, the rest of the London trip is just about the family doing touristy things in London, including Tori feeding pigeons and taking Nanny to the spa. Seriously this show should be called Tori, Dean and Nanny.

Then the show ends after Tori does some talk show in Britain where they joke about whether or not her son will get plastic surgery. Yikes. Tori and Dean are back indeed.

Next Week
Tori and Dean head to Scotland and Tori continues to think she is pregnant. Oh boy.

Cute Liam Moment
Regardless, Tori and Dean have an adorable baby. He's so cute, even Tori's dog Mimi La Rue is jealous of the baby. Liam spends a lot of this episode laughing and sleeping. We like it when he does both, especially when Dean is holding him.

Annoying Tori Moment
Tori plops down on a bench in front of a supermarket with reality cameras in tow and expects to get some privacy when townspeople start taking pictures of her. Whatever. Also, all her talk about possibly being pregnant again is irritating.

Sad Dean Moment
He has to burn a tick off one of their dogs.

Re: Tori and Dean: Inn Love, The Second Season Pre

Really as one who runs a the Woodstocker B & B in Woodstock Vermont these media types need to get a grasp on reality...but hey that wouldn't get the TV junkies tuning in.

Too much inherited money, too much time and too much distortion of the lodging facts make this compelling TV....I think Not! If only the show and the owners could reflect a degree of reality then reality TV could have recovered some of it's tarnished reputation.
