For that price, you'd expect every part of the resort to have had some attention, and it does kinda sound that way. Guest rooms have got new carpet and paint, new bathrooms and tropical curtains. Minibars have been replaced with "custom refreshment centers" and new flat screen TVs are in every room too.
Outside the rooms, several of the restaurants have been upgraded: new furniture, additional buffet stations and extra seating. The gym didn't miss out on expansion either, and the main lobby area was increaesed by 3,000 square feet. Is bigger better? Well, it was already a huge resort, and is now just a bit bigger and a bit newer, so who's complaining.
