End of July Six Columbus Update

July has come and gone, and Six Columbus is still saying "Uh, um, we don't know." And another non-surprise--they are still not taking reservations.

We called today to check in with them and here's what went down:

HotelChatter: Hi! Are you guys open?
6C: No, we're not fully open yet.
HotelChatter: So...when are you expecting to open?
6C: Uh, um, this summer. We're not officially certain of a date yet. If you're looking to make a reservation for sometime in the future, we can take your contact info and have someone get back to you when we start taking reservations.

Sounds just like our convo last month! This also makes us doubt the rumored August 12th opening date because if they were to open then, they would definitely be taking reservations by now.

Nevertheless, summer isn't officially over until September 23rd, so "sometime in the future" may be anytime between now and then. But we should probably start looking elsewhere to book a room for Labor Day weekend...
