The U.S. dollar is at a 30-year low against the Canadian loonie, but that doesn't matter if the hotel rate is already good, like at the newly renovated Hyatt Regency Vancouver.

The hotel is running an August deal that will only cost two of you $119 Canadian (around $114 U.S.) per night, even on weekdays. An additional $19 per night gets you an upgrade to a Preferred View room.

This downtown Vancouver hotel just came off a major refurbishment and now boasts sleek contemporary rooms, 32-inch wall-mounted LCD TVs, leather headboards, and duvets.
