Looks like Six Columbus isn't the only hotel in Manhattan facing delays. According to NewYorkology, Brooklyn's boutique hotel, Hotel Le Bleu pushed back it's opening to August 1. So far, this is the second time the hotel's pushed back its opening date. It was originally scheduled for a mid-July opening.

When the hotel does open whether August or later, it will be extremely tiny with only 48 modern-looking guest rooms and with its own restaurant called Vue on the 8th and 9th floors. Rooms will have WiFi, plasma TVs, iPod/alarm docking stations and limited room service hours.

Prices for August 1 were starting at $339 a night for a select king room with a promotional web rate of $309. Also available is a Summer Rate of $289 a night. Let's just hope it opens before summer is out.

It will be tiny but it looks real cool. it is good for Brooklyn to finally get a hotel with character, not just the Mariott, or another branded box. I took a tour a week ago and it is a nice design with some great views, for tourists its great since park slope has outstanding dining options and shopping and you can be in NYC in about 12 min.
