New Reality Show About Parker Palm Springs Hotel Set to Debut July 26th on Bravo

We love Bravo. Thanks to them, we have spent countless hours watching episodes of Queer Eye, Project Runway and Top Chef. Starting July 26th, we'll have another Bravo show to add to our Tivo recording queue---Welcome to the Parker. This "docu-series" takes place at the Parker Palm Springs Hotel and follows the "exhausting lives and complicated relationships between the top-notch hotel staff and their exacting and sometimes very particular guests." We love it already! This show was made for us!

And unlike Tori and Dean: Inn Love, this is a REAL hotel with REAL guests, not fake ones.

Some of the moments to expect in upcoming episodes include:

· Parker designer Jonathan Adler demands a full-time "pillow fluffer" to maintain the hotel's lush decor.

· An over-the-top food critic puts everyone in a tizzy.

· A group of Hollywood insiders trash the hotel's most expensive suite with a tricycle and too much beer.

The main "characters" will be the hotel's managers, Samir Chraibi and Thomas Medding, along with the hotel's restaurant host, a concierge, PR and sales directors, the executive chef, the human resources director, and a room service waiter. Sadly, there is no representation from the housekeeping and you know they have the most dirt, figuratively and literally.

BravoTV will also have a website devoted to the show that will feature blog entries from hotel staff, extended scenes, photos and an interactive component where guests can submit their best or worst hotel stories. (Hmmm...doesn't someone already do that? Oh yeah, we do.)

The first episode of Welcome to the Parker premieres on July 26th at 11pm. The show will then move into a regular slot on Thursdays at 10pm on August 2nd.

    This show sounds about 1,000 times better than The Block--which still isn't saying much, now that I think about it.
