Kimpton's Hotel Palomar Westwood To Open in the Fall

LA Curbed reports that the Hotel Palomar in Westwood near UCLA is "inching towards a Fall 2007" opening and that Kimpton Hotels have taken temporary possession of the liquor license at the hotel's address.

Yet we drive by this building fairly frequently and we noticed a little construction on the west side of the building. It looks as if they are renovating column of the building at a time. And since it's our job to distrust hotel hype, we just can't see how this is going to be completed by the Fall. But we will bet it will be open before Thompson Beverly Hills

For now, the place remains the Wilshire on Westwood Hotel.
