Looks like we're still waiting. Six Columbus still isn't taking reservations, even though we heard the resy line would be open this month.

And though we won't be staying there this month, we did have an interesting chat with the front desk when we called yesterday:

HotelChatter: Hi. Are you taking reservations?
6C: No, we aren't fully operational yet. But if you like, I can take your name and contact info, and have sales call you when we're ready to take reservations. When would you want to visit?
HotelChatter: [Conservatively estimating] Labor Day weekend, or sometime the first week in September.
6C: Ok. Let me take your details, and I'll have someone contact you.

We'd hold our breath, but, you know. Also, bonus gossip after the jump.

So, we went by yesterday to take these photos, and two guys in black pants, white shirts and black ties were standing near the door. They tensed up when we walked up and pulled out a camera. "Hey, you don't mind if we take a picture of the lobby, do you?" we asked with a smile. "What?! That's ridiculous to even ask," came the reply. Good point. Wouldn't want to over-hype this place or anything.
