Something we really like about the Dubrovnik Palace is its interesting program of live music in its bars, club and restaurants, ranging from DJs to Latino music to sunset with a romantic guitar. They also claim to offer performances from some of Croatia's greatest music stars, but since our knowledge of the Croatian charts isn't that great, we can't quite confirm this.
Of course, great music does not a great hotel make. Inside, they have large luxurious rooms, great views, and outside, the swimming pool gets a thumbs up, as does the private area on the beach. You can get into Dubrovnik's center fast using their shuttle bus, or by boat three times a day.
But we're saving the best for last. The Dubrovnik Palace is very proud to have opened the first "exclusive" sushi bar in Dubrovnik, and the head chef of the sushi bar is Jesus Mendoza "from the Far East". We really wanna try this sushi--perhaps in the company of a Croatian popstar.
