This week we are focusing on the latest news and reviews on the London Hotel Scene. We'll be looking at budget hotels, Wimbledon hotels, The Concert for Diana hotels and more. So if you've got a London hotel story or query, then c'mon now--fill us in.

Following the success of London's first two easyHotel properties (the Victoria location was at 100% occupancy in its first week), the bare-bones, no-frills hotel chain has just opened a third London property at Earl's Court. For 35-ish dollars a night, you get a bed, linens, towels, a cruise-ship-style bathroom and a flatscreen TV-- remote control, a window and housekeeping services cost extra.

Relying entirely on web bookings to generate sales, the new hotel opening is part of an ambitious expansion plan to open up to 60 new hotels in prime city locations across the UK, Europe and the Middle East in the next three years.

Budget-conscious travelers, get excited--it seems cheapie hotels are set to take over the world.
