Cubicle Dreamin': Testing The Beer Theory in Luxembourg

Since I heard the (apparently true) rumour that Luxembourg holds the record for beer drinking, I've been contemplating a holiday there to try and check this story out in person. When in Luxembourg ... it looks like the Sofitel Luxembourg will provide me with the 5-star comfort I'll need after spending a night or two testing the local beers.

Being walking distance from the city center (read: from the pub) is a key consideration, yet the Sofitel is still far enough out of downtown to be quiet on the morning after. A number of recent guests make mention of the extra-large and extra-comfortable beds, also an important factor for sleeping off my consumption of record-breaking beer. And they even do room service breakfast at no extra cost.

As far as sightseeing goes, there are a few nice things to see in Luxembourg and walking from the Sofitel into town gives a nice view of the gorgeous bridges. Seems like a good combination to me: a comfy hotel, a few beers, and a another tiny country to add to the brag list of where I've traveled.
