MLB Travel: Ballparks Near Omni Hotels

This week we introduced a new feature and a new map called MLB Travel, where we take a look at hotels nearest your favorite team's home turf.

We created maps of hotels and ballparks for Denver, Houston, Phoenix and Cleveland, with more to come throughout the summer.

But for now, if you  are thinking of traveling to see your team somewhere, check to see if there's an Omni Hotel near the ballpark because the hotel chain is doing a summer promotion for ballgames.

Called their "Batter Up" promotion, Omni has put together several baseball packages at different hotels from San Francisco to Chicago to Pittsburgh and to Boston. The rates and details vary at every place and we can't guarantee that the hotels are close to the ballpark (except Omni San Diego) but it's worth a look.
