Buyer Beware: Vegas Hard Rock Hotel To Make Non-Musical Noise

The kids love the off-Strip Hard Rock Hotel and Casino because of its cheese-free theme, star sightings and the "Rehab" pool parties on Sundays.

So rather than blow up the twelve-year-old, recently sold property (sorry, Stardust!) its new owners are renovating and expanding the property while it's still open, beginning with the 64 11th-floor suites which are getting a "rock and roll manor" upgrade.

According to Casino City Times, suites will be designed with a female archetype in mind -- and this being Vegas, those archetypes are "dominatrix, glamour girl, biker girl and party girl."

Construction in Vegas is as common as sunshine in the Nevada desert, but if you're already booked in at the Hard Rock in the next few months, you may want to request rooms away from Drill Master and the Hard Hats.

The operator we spoke to on the Hard Rock's reservation line avoided our question about renovation, saying "You shouldn't have a problem getting a room."
