Movie Set Hotel: Spidey 3 Scenes Shot from Hilton New York

We were some of the people who helped Spiderman 3 pull in close to $150 billion this past weekend but we somehow missed the scenes of the Hilton New York. A hotel insider let us know that the crew set up there last Memorial Day Weekend.

They shot here last Memorial Day weekend, from our rooftop, a long shot of Avenue of the Americas. They also included the hotel and logo in one of the scenes.

Given that the hotel itself is located on Avenue of the Americas, we think this was for the scene in the park (Bryant Park) where Spidey gets the key to the city and a parade in his honor.

Indeed one lucky guest was able to catch some of the filming while staying at the hotel last year. Said guest wrote on TripAdvisor:

We especially enjoyed seeing the new Spider Man movie being filmed right outside our bay window from which we could also see the river and Central Park.
