In this episode of The Young & The Restless Manhattan Hoteliers....

Gawker is reporting that some serious shit is going down with Gregory Peck's (not the actor) Cooper Square Project.

The Peck Moss Group is no longer. The board two weeks ago decided to be done with Gregory Peck, one half of the partnership. (Let's call it a permanent Roman holiday! Ha!) Reason? In the words of one, "He's a huge douchebag." Fair enough.

So it's a good thing that they didn't start adding anything to the PeckMoss web site. Still, the Cooper Square Hotel will go on under the watchful eye of general manager Klaus Ortleib (THOR) and will have a restaurant by LA's Table 8 Govind Armstrong and a private park a la Gramercy Park.

    Cooper Square Hotel

Now that we've got rid of Peck, can we get rid of Moss, too? He doesn't seem like any less of a douchebag. I hope this project ends up like those buildings in Asbury Park, half-constructed and abandoned monuments to hubris.
