Location, Location, Location at Moscow's Metropol

If you've been to New York, Paris and London, we reckon you still haven't seen the world until you've stayed a week in Moscow. (We've been twice.) So if your travel plans take you there and your budget is wide-open, consider the Hotel Metropol Moscow, more for its perfect location than anything else.
Directly in front of the Bolshoi Theater, two minutes to Red Square and next to a Metro station, and in a grand old building itself, you really feel as if you're in Moscow.
Of course, not everyone thinks the famous Metropol is the place to stay, and previous guest feedback is pretty mixed. Service can be a problem (one guy complained that his Russian-born wife was treated terribly, but once he started speaking in English, suddenly the staff were polite again), and others think that the costs are a bit over the top, but Moscow is becoming a really expensive city.
On the plus side, it's clean, classy and a bit regal-looking, and a harpist plays while you're eating breakfast. Then you just stroll out the door and before you know it you're surrounded by the red walls of the Kremlin or queueing to see Lenin.
