Anti View: THEhotel's Tantalizing Early Morning Full Frontal

You know the scene. You open the door to your brand new hotel room, run over to the window, open the blinds and bam, you are hit with the anti-view. Maybe you are looking down a dirty alley, witnessing a drug deal, staring at an air shaft in the face, or seeing a brick wall. Whatever you are viewing it is not extremely pleasurable. Sure their are plenty of roof-filled anti-views in Vegas, but this view from room 3129 is an Anti View for a different reason.

As you stare out your window into the early morning Vegas sun, you see a glimmering tower in front of you. That tower is THEhotel (or is The Hotel? Or theHOTEL?), far and away the superior of the two Mandalay towers, and you are in the old, tired Mandalay original. Furthermore the folks at Mix can peer down at you, and all you can do is look up at them longingly, wishing you stayed at THEhotel.

Well not so fast, while all the above is certainly true, and lord knows we had a terrible experience with the Mandalay flagship a couple years ago, the great thing about hotels is they can renovate and reinvent!

Tomorrow we will bring you details on the recent renovations at Mandalay Bay, though we are still a bit jealous of the folks in the glimmering gold tower.
