The Monte Carlo Resort & Casino in Las Vegas has gotten lost in the Vegas strip crowd thanks to such high-profile casino neighbors like the MGM Grand, the Bellagio, and even New York New York (that roller coaster and fake NYC skyline is distracting!), despite the hotel's AAA Four Diamond rating.

The casino hotel has also probably lost its luster in the recent Vegas boom with other hotels like the Palms, the Wynn and the Hard Rock offering newer digs with luxury amenities (ok, not the Hard Rock) and a happening nightlife popular with the younger set.

So in an effort to capitalize on the town's visiting young (and celeb-following) demographic, the Monte Carlo will unveil its Diablo's Cantina in September. Judging from the rendering's sexy devil vixen, Diablo's Cantina will be a different turn for the Monte Carlo.

MORE on Diablo's Cantina after the jump.

The cantina will be run by the Light Group which manages nightlife staples like JET at Mirage and Light at Bellagio. Secondly, this won't be a one-dimensional nightclub where you dance and look pretty. Inside will feature:

· A full-service restaurant and lounge area serving classic Mexican fare but with clever names like Diablo's Beef Chili Nachos and lots of spice.
· A second-floor open-air patio with a bar that will host different entertainment acts and DJs.
· "Tequila vixens" milling about trying to get you drunk to have fun.
· 10 large plasma screens placed throughout (perfect for sporting events).

But of course, the drinks are the star of the show here. We got excited by this statement:

The signature margaritas will come in two sizes: individual or large for table sharing.

Individuals can order the large sizes too, right? Right??

Also being served are mojitos, sangrias, and a variety of rare tequilas. Plus, all your favorite frozen drinks will be poured at the cantina's strip-front entrance, where a frozen/specialty bar will be placed. Naturally, reading this makes us think of Senor Frog's or some other Cancun spring break destination bar. But that's ok because that's what Monte Carlo wants:

"Fueled by the combination of great food, high-octane entertainment, an open-air design in the center of the world's most exciting location and, of course, tequila, Diablo's will be like Spring Break year-round!"

Let's just hope it will be Kevin Federline-free.
