We are suckers for a room with a killer view.  We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. Let's help out our fellow hotel mavens by uploading rooms with killer views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. We will feature our favorites in this space from time to time. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number of the hot view.

Flickr user ajbelongia dropped this Killer View into the HotelChatter Flickr Pool of the Intercontinental Hotel in Montreal.

Here's what ajbelongia had to say:

View from room 2004 of Southern Montreal with the St. Lawrence river looking across the islands of the former Expo 67. The dome of the former US Pavillion (now the Biosphere Nature Museum) can be seen in the background.

ajbelongia also has some other sweet shots from the hotel room so be sure to check them out.

As for the hotel itself, the Intercontinental gets pretty decent reviews about being a good hotel for business travelers, thanks to its location near the city's financial center. But many reviews complain about the sub-par service and the internet that costs $14 a day. Ugh, now that doesn't sound like a good place to do business.
