Planet Hollywood Las Vegas is Bringing 1993 Back

Remember when it was cool to eat at Planet Hollywoods? Back in 1993 when Adidas sambas, scrunchies and rolled-up jean shorts were in fashion. (And yes, we wore all three at once.)

We thought that the chain bankrupted sometime in the late 1990s but it turns out someone salvaged Planet Hollywood and now a casino and resort will open on the Las Vegas strip where the Aladdin used to hold court.

On hand for the press conference about the hotel's first batch of renovations were Carmen Electra, Pete Sampras (random!) and of course Bruce Willis. The place is expected to officially open in September 2007. Until then, it's still the old Aladdin Hotel, just under construction.
