You know the scene. You open the door to your brand new hotel room, run over to the window, open the blinds and bam, you are hit with the anti-view. Maybe you are looking down a dirty alley, witnessing a drug deal, staring at an air shaft in the face, or seeing a brick wall. Whatever you are viewing it is not extremely pleasurable. Help out your fellow hotel mavens by uploading your anti-views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number with the not-so-easy-on-the-eyes view.

HotelChatter's Markj is currently in San Francisco this week, staying at the Hotel Diva in Union Square.

We're not sure if he was inspired to book the hotel's Britney Breakdown Package or what, but he reports that this Personality Hotel is indeed a cool boutique hotel at a very reasonable price. Plus, they have free WiFi and a tequlia bar in the lobby.

The only downside seems to be the view from room 616 which he says is fairly typical for the hotel. If you are keen on booking a room with a view, Mark says:

If you get a room at the front of the hotel you will have a view up and down Geary, but that is hardly a reason to specially request such a room.

That's his only dispatch so far from the hotel. Stay tuned for next week when the full review of Hotel Diva is expected to roll in.
