As The Pomeranc Turns: Six Columbus Claims April 16th Opening

Curbed is reporting that Six Columbus, Jason Pomeranc's long awaited West Side hotel for "good looking revolutionaries", those are the Ranc's words, not ours, will begin its soft-opening phase on April 16th. Apparently, April 16th is when the lobby will be finished which not too long ago, used to look like this. A chaotic lobby one month before opening is not uncommon, taking over three years to open a conversion hotel however, is uncommon.

Here at HotelChatter we are in "we will believe it when we see it mode", though we did pick up the phone and call what Curbed said was the 6 Columbus line: 212.204.3000.

While the phone number over at 6 Columbus is still defaulting to the lovely West Park, and emails to info6columbus go unanswered, the group has had time to put together, and prominently link to a manifesto on their website.
