W Wall Street Hotel A Go

Last month, it was tentative that W Hotels would be opening its doors in downtown Manhattan but today it's a done deal that the W will rise in NYC skyline. (Scary!)

W Wall Street will be opening sometime in 2008 at 123 Washington Street, near where the new Freedom Tower is going up. As with all new Ws being built, the W Wall Street will have residences built within it, making it the first of the now six W Hotels in Manhattan with residences.

The 57-story building will offer all of the W signature comforts, including its Living Room experience where guests can socialize while sipping cocktails, and the Whatever/Whenever® 24-hour concierge service that can provide whatever guests want (from a bed covered in rose petals to private jet service) whenever they want it.

Residents of the W Wall Street will have all the amenities and services available to hotel guests along with a residents-only lounge area, a rooftop terrace (with cabanas!) and private spa treatment rooms. The sales will begin in the next few months, although no prices are given.

For hotel guests, what this means is...well...you will have your choice of Ws when visiting Manhattan. That and coked up investment bankers are going to be guaranteed fixtures.
