Still Waiting for the Ivy Hotel Debauchery-Fest

Last we heard, San Diego's Ivy Hotel would open on June 1. After hearing a rumor that things were ahead of schedule, we touched base with the hotel. As it turns out? Not so much: The hotel's still planning for June 1.

Though you can't call now to book a room for late May, the hotel will likely open in the last week of that month. Employees will start mock service in early May. When the doors swing open, the rooftop bar, nightclub and restaurant will also be ready for you:

Expose your desires at Envy nightclub, a glitterati gathering place with distinct VIP lounge areas. Indulge your senses at Eden rooftop bar, pool and sundeck and sultry lounge. And experience the rich cuisine at Quarter Kitchen restaurant, San Diego's finest new destination to see and be seen. Danger ahead. The voyeuristic allure of Ivy is mysterious and irresistible

The only danger ahead we see is overwrought marketing speak.
