Eloise To Become a Las Vegas Showgirl?

The Plaza in New York is just about finished with its massive overhaul from classy hotel (and home to children's book star Eloise) to flashy condo-hotel with Versace decor but the hotel's owners Elad Properties, have another suprise up there sleeve.

The Street is reporting that the real-estate invesment group is close to announcing their purchase of Las Vegas' New Frontier Casino which having been built in 1942 is no longer a new anything. So of course, Elad will probably wreck the place and rebuild and what better thing to do than spin-off the Plaza name.

The only thing stopping them, The Street says, is that there's already a Plaza Hotel on Fremont Street in downtown. But can't the Elad just buy them out too?
