Room with an Anti-View: Hilton Singer Island
March 2, 2007 at 9:29 AM | 2 Comments
You know the scene. You open the door to your brand new hotel room, run over to the window, open the blinds and bam, you are hit with the anti-view. Maybe you are looking down a dirty alley, witnessing a drug deal, staring at an air shaft in the face, or seeing a brick wall. Whatever you are viewing it is not extremely pleasurable. Help out your fellow hotel mavens by uploading your anti-views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number with the not-so-easy-on-the-eyes view.

Room 221, Hilton, Singer Island in North Palm Beach, Florida.
Beware of any rooms on the second floor at this beach front Hilton hotel because most likely you will get a room overlooking the roof of the lobby. However, this is without a doubt the worst room in the house, as verified by the front desk. If you're lucky to get the opposite side of the hallway (the even numbers) you will at least get a view of the pool.
Fun fact: The building in the background is the new Luxury Collection hotel coming from Starwood. So Hilton, you better up the ante here.
