Reviewer Says Paramount Hotel 'Not So Paramount'

Not a four-star. The beds will hurt you, if not kill your back. Not only are the box springs not a typical sized box spring size (1/2 thickness) but the bed frames are very short so the bed is very close to the floor. It is like sleeping on plywood - the floor probably would have been better on my back.

We had three rooms - some the bathrooms had moldy shower curtains - carpets that should be cleaned or moldy tile in the bathroom. The tiny rooms didn't bother us, typical of NYC but they need to have a decent bed and be clean. It wouldn't take a lot to improve on this hotel.
