Kimpton Hotels Do Some Good

February 28, 2007 at 4:11 PM | by juliana | 0 Comments

Starting tomorrow, Kimpton Hotels in New York City will be offering guests the Chick Chocoloate Check-In and a new chocolate martini to benefit the Dress for Success charity.

In New York City, Kimpton's 70 park avenue hotel and The Muse, are welcoming women throughout Women's History Month with Chick Chocolate Check-In. Female guests checking-in to these hotels will be given a complimentary treat of Chick Chocolates (chocolate made for women by women; www.chickchocolates.com) and a drink card promoting a new chocolate martini at adjacent silverleaf tavern and Mini Bar. $1 per drink will be donated to non-profit partner Dress for Success.

Also starting tomorrow at the Muse Hotel is the first ever 1967--Visual Concert tour, where artwork and handwritten song lyrics but such rock n roll legends as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones, and Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane will be on display.

And lastly, all of Kimpton hotels will be offering the Songs to Suit Yourself CD featuring female jazz artists such as Rosemary Clooney, Dinah Washington, and Ella Fitzgerald. Once again, all proceeds of the $10 CD will go to Dress for Success. And you don't have to visit a Kimpton to get one, as the chain is selling the CD online at Kimpton Style.

Now since you're in a charitable mood, how about that free WiFi?
