Teddy's at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel Still Problematic, Even for P. Diddy

Star-watching site TMZ.com is reporting that P. Diddy is being investigated for assault and battery after a run-in with an angry man who thought Diddy was hitting on his fiancee.

The fracas went down at the celeb-beleagured Hollywood Roosevelt during a post-Oscars party on Sunday night/early Monday morning.

At around 2 AM Monday morning, the 27-year-old [Gerard] Rechnitzer was on his way to the parking lot when he made a pit stop in the bathroom. When he walked out, he noticed his fiancee was surrounded by six men, including [Sean] Combs. We're told the 5'7", 140 lb. Rechnitzer watched as Combs chatted up his girl for about five minutes, and then asked his fiancee to leave with him.

Apparently, Diddy being Diddy, asked the engaged girl to come to his late-night party at which point her fiancee got mad and then the rapper "allegedly socked Rechnitzer in the jaw." Cops were called and took a report but Diddy had already left.

Of course, this is not the first time shit has gone down at Teddy's. Kid Rock infamously beat up a fan outside the hotel here. A model once lost her cool and Lindsay Lohan has been known to get pissed when any other girl stepped near a guy Lohan was thinking about liking. Ah...the good ole' days before rehab.
