Burger Joint at Le Parker Meridien Still Has the Beef But Now With Newer Tables
Where: 118 West 57th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues [map], New York, ny, United States, 10019

A few years back, the big NYC hotel secret was the Burger Place in the Le Parker Meridien Hotel in Midtown. Back then, we gave you a little map to help you navigate your way to this little hamburger heaven.
Well, folks it's 2007 and the place still seems to be hitting the spot. The Social Diva blog says this place is no longer a well-kept secret (apparently, autographed posters line the wall), but the $6 "char-bequed" burgers will satisfy your midnight meat-eater cravings. So hotels should really stop charging $18 for a cheeseburger. We also like the dig that Social Diva takes at Gramercy Park.
I noticed that the normally grafitti-ed tables were spanking new, a little bit of an improvement one would think, but in my book, it takes away from the charm, like the new bar at the Gramercy Park Hotel.
Perhaps Ian Schrager should ditch his ambitious celeb chef restaurant and open up a greasy spoon?
