Capella Hotels Gets Chauffeur Service, Restaurant Recognition

Capella Hotels, the high-end company developing resorts around the world had to do something to drum up publicity since most of its properties aren't taking guests anytime soon. So to get us talking, the brand has announced that two custom Rolls Royce Phantoms will be available to guests at the Capella Singapore, opening in late 2008.
The breathless release announcing the cars doesn't specifically say if they'll just be doing airport runs or providing around-the-town driving too. Knowing the MO of Capella, though, we'd guess they'll drive you anywhere you want if you pay enough.
Meanwhile, one of the two hotels that's actually open has just gotten some recognition for its restaurant Schlossstern. (Yep, that's three s's.) With a Michelin star and a 17-out-of-20 rating from the Gault Millau guide, the Capella Schloss Velden sounds like it might actually be worth the big bucks.
