The ranch's sustainability promise means that they use geothermal heating to reduce the use of traditional fuels as well as a water sand filtration system to avoid reliance on other water sources. All the basics like recycling and using environmentally friendly cleaning products are also part of the Devil's Thumb charter.
As you'd imagine, activities out here in the wild are those like snowshoe walking and cross country skiing, fishing, hiking, rafting and mountain biking. When you want to eat, the Ranch House restaurant is the place to go, and if you're too tired to ski or snowshoe there, the ranch staff will pick you up from your cabin in a horse-drawn carriage--now that's service.
This service comes at the price of $150 a night for a loft cabin, $300 a night for a 2 bedroom cabin and $500 for a 4 bedroom cabin; if you go for the luxury versions, you can almost double it.
