Worst Hotel Hell: The Duck-Chomping Guest
Awarding this year's Best Hotel Hell award was a little tough. The Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood, once the epitome of hotel cool, had a terrible year thanks to both celebrity and non-celebrity vomit and one dead rapper. The Hotel Carter in Times Square also continued to be one of the most hellish hotels on earth when a body was discovered under one of the guestroom beds.
But we still think the most terrifying hotel event occurred at the Embassy Suites in St. Paul, Minn. when a deranged guest bit the head off a duck swimming around an ornamental pool in the hotel lobby. Scott D. Clark proved he was crazier than Britney Spears when he did this:
According to The Associated Press, Scott D. Clark cornered the duck, grabbed it and ripped its head from its body while a hotel security guard and others watched. Clark then turned to onlookers and said: "I'm hungry. I'm gonna eat it."
Yikes. That Embassy Suites will never be the same again.
