New Years Eve Hotels: Old Montreal and More

There's just a few days left in 2007, plenty o' time for you to get your New Years Eve plans going. If you haven't decided where you wanna be, check out some New Years Travel plans over at Jaunted. Should you want to venture up North to Canada, The Place d'Armes Hotel & Suites in historic Old Montreal is holding a roaring '20s New Year's Eve party called The Moonlight Serenade. (Last year's party was Casablance-themed.) The party will feature a 10-piece Big Band Orchestra and a 5-course dinner with champagne toast and open bar. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres start at 6:30 pm and tickets cost $200 CDN per person (taxes included.)

The hotel is also offering an accommodations package which includes tickets to the Moonlight Serenade, two nights in a room or suite, continental breakfast each morning, and wine and cheese cocktail each evening. The package starts at $697 CDN.

· DoubleTree Hotel Boston-Downtown: $129 for a First Night Boston package. Includes overnight accommodations for two people on the 31st only and two First Night Buttons. Additional buttons may be purchased from the hotel based on availability.

· Hilton Chicago: This Michigan Avenue hotel is having a New Year's Eve party that includes a 4-Hour premium open bar, buffet & hors d’oeuvres, champagne toast at midnight, party favors and noisemakers and a video countdown and confetti storm. Rooms were still open for $179 a night.

· W Dallas: The Ghostbar is hosting a New Years Eve party from 8pm to 2am at $75 per person. The restaurant Craft is also hosting a prix fixe dinner. First seatings from 5:30 to 6:30pm start at $125 per person. Second seatings from 8:30 to 10pm are $150 and include champagne toast.

If you stay overnight, the hotel will gift you with a limited edition W Hotels 2008 calendar designed by internationally renowned architect David Rockwell, a bottle of Bubbly, E-BOOST hangover helper, a W disposable camera, a Party in a Bag filled with party essentials (whatever those may be) and a late 2pm checkout. A room with two queen beds was going for $499.
