Miami Beach is another popular New Years Eve destination but the prices here are beyond extravagant. Still, if the hotels throw a party with celebrities and champange, the guests will come. Here are some options we thought worthy of mentioning.

Lenny Kravitz's Florida Room is an instant hit at the Delano Hotel. We're hearing from sources, it's the best place to be these days. So why wouldn't you consider hitting it up for New Years? Well, we have two reasons: Expensive tickets and no vacancy.
The lounge is hosting a killer party on Dec. 31st from 9pm until 4am featuring Gnarls Barkley and the Florida Room Players. Tickets are outrageously expensive at $400 a pop and include cocktails and a midnight champagne toast with Veuve Clicquot. (What, no appetizers or party favors?)
And forget about getting a room there. The Delano, which requires a 3 to 5 night minimum stay is totally sold out over New Years Eve. However, if you want to catch the tail-end of the partying, there are rooms open from Jan. 1-4th.

If you still want a crazy expensive night partying like a celebrity, then consider the Setai's New Years Eve party where you can actually party with a celebrity. "Dreamgirls" Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson will give her very first performance of 2008 at the Setai. The choices for party-goers are a Lagoon Dinner Dance that starts at 7:45pm or heading straight to the Paradise Club at 9:30pm.
The pricing makes the Florida Room look like a night out at Hooters. The Setai is charging $1,000 per person which includes cocktails in the courtyard, lagoon dinner dance with a five-course meal and entrance to the Paradise Club.
If you just want to do the Paradise Club, table reservations are required and start at $1,500 for two. Lastly, if you just want to flit about and not sit at a table (aka you are on a budget), then tickets are $500. email Setainewyears@GHamericas.com for tickets and info.
While seeing Jennifer Hudson perform would be amazing, we can only afford to listen to the "Dreamgirls" soundtrack these days. So we would head over to the Pelican Hotel which is holding its annual themed New Year’s Eve Dinner Party.
This year the theme is 1980s, which is totally overdone but the Pelican has managed to keep the celebration fresh with an interpretation of the Berlin Wall from Italian artist Filippo Bertoncello. The pieces of the art installation will later be available for sale after January 6, 2008.
Dinner starts at 9pm and the ticket cost is $200.8 (cute) which includes dinner, party favors and midnight champagne toast. Call 305-673-3373 for hotel rooms and party reservations.
For those who are celeb-obsessed but wanna spend less...over at the Delano's sister hotel, The Shore Club, Ashlee Simpson and Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz will do the countdown at the Skybar with music from Eve and DJ Mos. Tickets are $300 a person.
The party at the Raleigh Hotel will be hosted by Mandy Moore and DJed by Samantha Ronson starting at 9pm. Tickets cost $250 and includes open bar until 1am.
One final "cheaper" option is just opting for music and partying poolside at the Shelborne Beach Resort. The second seating at 9pm offers party favors and champagne toast for $150.
